What can I expect?
This years 3Fall dance company cast are very excited to be collaborating with Stuart Waters, Detta Howe and reworking Ceyda Tanc from the 2014 tour.
The performance content is an eclectic mix that is suitable for secondary schools and dancers aged 16 and above, however, in the past we have also worked with youth dance groups and after school clubs.
The performance lasts approximately 90 minutes with a short interval, however, this can be adjusted to individual performance requirements.

Workshops...
3Fall offers various workshops tailored for different age ranges and dance abilities. The workshops are perfect for GCSE/A Level/BTEC students and budding dancers and choreographers. In addition to this, a more general introduction to contemporary dance could be offered to Key Stage 3 pupils.
In the workshops provided, students will be taught repertory from the current spring tour that will challenge and inspire them in their own technique and creative practice.
Our workshops are adaptable, for example, In the past, 3Fall have helped A Level students create pieces that have been used as their set study.

Residency
Provides students with an in depth experience allowing them to work as part of, and alongside the company as well as learning new skills on a more detailed level.
This could consist of two or three days, working with the students, choreographing a piece that could be included as a pre-show performance or the students may wish to use it as their set study

Workshop A: Technique Workshop
Focusing on Contemporary dance, participants will take part in a structured technique workshop, learning set phrases of movement in order to improve their dance technique and performance skills.

Workshop B: Improvisation and Choreography Workshop
Focusing on the creative process of choreography through improvisational tasks, the workshop will enable students to develop their own creative skills and/or develop movement phrases from the repertory.

Workshop C: Repertory Workshop
Participants will explore work from the current touring repertory and will be taught sections from the professional works that have been created for the tour. It will enable the students to develop their performance skills and give an insight into professional work.
